The beginning of the election process is a series of opportunities in which lack of information can profoundly and even illegally influence the outcome of a local race.
Being unable to immediately report Local Election Interference to a jurisdiction able to rapidly, and legally, cure the circumstances is but one of many instances in which even the a lack of a hotline represents a State’s direct interference by providing cover from the public filing a complaint regarding the election process.
